The Ei 12AX7 is one of the finest replacements for any 12AX7 / ECC83 / 7025. It was designed using the Telefunken Smooth Plate ECC83 tube as a model. Its sound is close to that of the Telefunken as well. This tube is remarkable in Hi-Fi amps and preamps - but may become microphonic in guitar amplifiers. A great choice at this price.
