The Amphenol TM2PN is the world's most durable and reliable 1/4" connector, period. The tip is machined from a billet of solid brass with an over-sized solder cup at the opposite end. The adjacent ground contact is firmly engaged with the sleeve, also machined from solid brass and over-sized. The sleeve and tip assemblies are provided with a thick polished nickel plating insuring unsurpassed durability and solderability. The unique patented cable retention system via the "Jaws" cable clamp insures that the installed cable is impossible to pull out from the connector. The attractive non-glare brushed nickle finish of the shell and backshell provide an ergonomic shape that fits the hand perfectly making insertion and retraction effortless.
